Presenting "Boost ". Designed by Pfaff Designs and built by Weaver Customs. Every panel on this one of a kind 1950 Chevy custom roadster has been completely restyled from headlights to tail lights. Nothing was left untouched giving this race inspired car its attitude and stance. "Boost" started life as a 2 door post car then was totally reengineered into an all steel 2 seat roadster. The entire body has been smoothed and shaved. Painted in the spectacular colors of Hot Hues Gun Metal and Volcanic Blast. The car features a custom race-inspired front splitter and extended and ducted '49 rear quarters.
The custom rear roll pan utilizes a flipped '51 Chevy grill and a stylized outlet for the Flowmaster exhaust. Custom fit '54 Chevy tail lights are finished in hand brushed nickel. The hand fabricated steel dash and waterfall console accent an interior filled with Kicker audio components and Dakota Digital gauges. The grill is hand brushed nickel. A supercharged 383 motivates this ride while an Airlift Performance Suspension is responsible for its competitive stance along with custom Intro Wheels wrapped in Pirelli rubber. 14" Wilwood brakes halts this race inspired hot rod. Boost is no stranger to attention.
Debuting at the 2013 Detroit Autorama, Boost took home Outstanding in Class Radical Custom, generating a lot out buzz on Rod Authority, Hot Rod.com, School of Hot Rod, and in the July 2013 Hot Rod Magazine, and January 2014 Street Rodder Magazine. Boost also won Best in Class Radical Custom at the Omaha Autorama and the Shirley Muldowney Award. It was an invited feature car for 2013 Hot Rod Power Tour and Syracuse Nationals. At Hot August Nights, Boost was bestowed the Grand Marshall award. Boost is also an Adam's Polishes feature car.
