Introduced in 2010 as a 2011 model year offering, the CTS coupe was the first Cadillac two-door since the 2002 Eldorado. The coupe shared its underpinnings with the CTS sedan, but the instrument panel, console, headlamps, front fenders and grille were the only design elements. The sporty, angular styling of the coupe was further emphasized by a silhouette that’s roughly 2 inches shorter in both height and length. WIth its supercharged, 6.2L/556 HP LSA V-8, the CTS-V was a shot across the bow of the luxury German performance cars of the era.
With all-around performance to match the impressive power under the hood, the CTS-V also came with 6-piston Brembo calipers in the front along with 4-piston calipers in the rear. Magnetic Ride Control dampers that adjust every millisecond gave the CTS-V a ride that’s just as satisfying at the track as it is on an all-day road trip. Recaro sport seats complete the grand-touring mission with an ideal combination of support and comfort. One of fewer than 8,500 CTS-V Coupes built, this red on black example is even more notable for its 6-speed Tremec TR6060 manual transmission.
