Buick entered the postwar years in better shape than many of its counterparts, having embarked on an ambitious redesign for the short-lived 1942 model year, which it continued after the war with detail changes. Buick’s range-topping Roadmaster model had a long 129 inch wheelbase and power from a 320/144 HP overhead valve inline 8. This 1947 Buick Roadmaster convertible coupe is a gorgeous example in Metallic Dark Grey with Grey leather upholstery and a Grey cloth top. It is fully restored and all details and resplendent in wide Whitewall Firestone tires, hubcaps and trim rings, grill guard and fender skirts. It has a power top and power windows.
The engine is meticulously and correctly presented in every detail, while the trunk is fully detailed and correctly equipped with spare wheel and tire, a spare cover and jack. The interior has a radio, heater and power seat. This is a beautiful car that will reward its new owner with ample performance, luxury, interior room and the enjoyment of dropping the top on fine days. It is an exceptional restoration in very attractive and tasteful colors.
