The 1969 Buick Riviera was distinguishable by its retractable headlamps and unique front end design. As the top of the line Buick offered, the Riviera featured all items found on other Buicks as standard, in addition to accenting wood grain dash pieces and trunk lights. The new GS option package included: chrome air cleaner, front and rear heavy-duty suspension, posi-traction rear end and whitewall tires. Outwardly the GS optioned cars featured narrow rocker panel covers, side trim and no gravel deflectors. The GS Option package retailed for $131.57. In 1969, Buick produced 52,872 examples of the Riviera.

This 1969 Buick Riviera GS Coupe is presented in Embassy Gold. The car is powered by a 430-cid, 360-hp V-8 engine which is paired to a three-speed automatic transmission. Power equipment includes windows, steering and brakes. The interior is completed in a two-tone black and gold featuring a bench seat, air conditioning as well as an AM/FM radio. Included in the sale is original paperwork. This restored example of a 1969 Buick Riviera GS Coupe is reported to have only had two owners from new.
