This custom 1966 Buick Riviera was originally restored and modified by custom builder Marsh Burns of Gresham, OR, and shown at the Portland World of Wheels in 1982 before appearing in Street Rodder magazine. After reacquiring the car in 2022, Burns completed a full restoration with numerous upgrades. It is powered by a rebuilt 425ci nailhead V8 engine featuring a Grand Sport dual-four intake manifold, two Edelbrock carburetors and Grand Sport valve covers, paired with an upgraded Turbo 400 automatic transmission and equipped with air conditioning, power steering, power brakes, power windows, a tilt steering column, a lowered suspension with Bilstein shocks and a custom stereo system.
The interior includes newer black upholstery with bucket seats, a center console, a floor shifter and a custom carpeted trunk compartment. The exterior features a 2.5-inch chopped top with Hartz cloth covering, custom glass, shaved door handles with remote opener, a custom tucked rear bumper and hideaway headlights, and the car rides on 18-inch chrome Boss alloy wheels with low-profile radial tires. The body was stripped to bare metal and refinished in Jaguar Regency Red.
