This matching-numbers 1970 Buick Riviera GS is a very original car finished in its factory Sandpiper Beige over a Saddle interior, a great combination in its model year. Paint is believed to be mostly original though there have been some touchups here and there. Excellent original vinyl roof with no signs of rust underneath. The original chrome and trim show well. Very rare Riviera GS and in fabulous original shape after almost 45 years. Well optioned Riviera with factory air conditioning that blows cold, AM/FM radio, power brakes, power steering, power seat, power windows and tilt wheel. The interior is original.

The engine compartment is original and tidy showing pride of ownership and maintenance. Nearly new BFG wide whitewalls set off the factory wheels. Original matching-numbers, powerful 455 V8 with 370hp and 4-barrel carburetor. This is all mated to its 3-speed automatic transmission with decorative shifter. Newer exhaust. Spare and jack in the trunk. Solid car. Drives and sounds great. Exceptionally preserved low original 34,000 miles. Overall this Riviera runs fantastic, accelerates well, handles great and shifts firm.
