This 850 CSI with manual gearbox went into production in November 1992 in this rare and sublime Mauritius blue (287) colour, aimed at the Italian market. The wealth of standard equipment is further enhanced by the electrically adjustable front seats with memory function, electrochromatic interior rear-view mirror, alarm, and the roll-up rear side sunshades. First registered in January 1993, it arrived in France 10 years later in November 2003. At the time, it had just under 80,000 km on the clock. Its first owner, a Parisian, kept it for around fifteen years, clocking just under 40,000 km behind the wheel.
It then went on to have two French owners - in 2019 in Hauts-de-Seine and in 2020 in Hérault, before making its way to Monaco. All roadworthiness tests since 2003 have been favourable, and nearly thirty invoices from BMW dealerships have been issued since 2003, testifying to the care taken in servicing the vehicle and guaranteeing its mileage of just over 121,000 km on the odometer. In 2024, a Dutch collector of the model fell in love with it and acquired it. The BMW is sold with an export certificate that allows any buyer (outside France and Monaco) to register the vehicle directly.
For French and Monégasque buyers, obtaining the certificate to apply for the vehicle registration document will take additional time. The vehicle's service logbook has been lost, but photos of it are on file. With just 1,510 CSI models produced, not only is this coupé with its seductive feline lines a pleasure to drive, it is also one of the most sought-after BMWs, especially when it comes to examples with a clear history, as is the case here. Please note that the car is sold with a CPOCG from Monaco. The registration process will therefore be adapted to the buyer’s country. This administrative process will take more time than the usual one.
