Its design was signed by Claus Luthe and the Italian Ercole Spada, who previously worked for Zagato. Under the hood, the famous M30 engine, born with the BMW 2500 and 2800, is found in the entry-level segment, with a displacement of 2,986 cm3 and 197 hp for the 730i.
