This rare Abarth 500 Celebrity Challenge Edition is a race-prepared hot-hatch with low mileage, standout provenance and track credentials.
Just 16 examples were built in Turin for the BSM Centenary Abarth 500 Celebrity Challenge, held at the Silverstone Classic to raise funds for charity. This particular car - #15 of the 13 that actually competed - was driven by. Travis. drummer, Neil Primrose, who recorded the fastest lap and secured second place overall. Power comes from a tuned 1.4-litre turbocharged inline-four engine producing 165bhp, paired with a 5-speed manual transmission. Presented in Campovolo Grey, it retains its original #15 livery, sponsorship decals, Abarth Corse Sabelt bucket seats with four-point harnesses and a bespoke MSA-compliant roll cage by Custom Cages.
Each car received the Esseesse Performance Upgrade kit, which includes 17" lightweight alloy wheels, stiffer suspension springs, an Abarth-tuned ECU, BMC performance air filter and the signature Abarth Monza exhaust, boosting power from 135bhp to 165bhp. Supplied with an A4 folder containing service invoices - the last being a full service in July 2025 and paraphernalia and photographs regarding the race. Highly collectible and genuinely rare, this Abarth makes a thrilling track day toy, an engaging B-road companion, or a uniquely fun city car.
