    Tesla Upgrades the Model 3 Again

    Tesla has found another way to refresh the Model 3 without waiting for a traditional model year. The latest changes make some versions quicker, give every car a larger display and add a little more range to the Performance model — all without increasing the price. The biggest performance gain comes from the Model 3 Premium AWD, which now has a claimed 0–60 mph time of 3.8 seconds, down from 4.2. Tesla hasn’t explained what changed mechanically, while its 346-mile range remains unchanged. How did the sedan get faster? The Model 3 Performance also receives an upgrade, with output rising from 510 to 528 hp. Range increases from 309 to 316 miles, although Tesla still quotes the same 2.9-second 0–60 mph time. A black headliner is another new addition. Inside, the entire Model 3 lineup gets a 16-inch touchscreen instead of the previous 15.4-inch unit. The new display reportedly offers higher pixel density and appears to be shared with the updated Model Y. Pricing remains unchanged, starting at $38,630 for the base RWD model and reaching $56,630 for the Performance. So what’s missing? Unlike Model 3s sold in China, Australia, New Zealand and South Korea, North American cars still lack vehicle-to-load capability. Would you want that feature?
