The Eldorado became part of the Fleetwood series in 1965 with its longer and lower slab-sided silhouette accented by vertically stacked headlight and tail-lamp assemblies. This highly original 1965 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz convertible has aged gracefully with a single repaint into its Sheffield Firemist Silver factory color. Driven just 39,733 believed-original miles, this Eldorado was sold new at Frank Kent Cadillac in Fort Worth, Texas, and it has spent most of its life in the state of Texas. Cadillac redesigned its overhead-valve engine with a lighter and stronger block for 1963, and in 1964 the quietly powerful V-8 grew in displacement from 390 to 429 cubic inches. With a Carter 4-barrel carburetor and hydraulic valve lifters, the 1965 V-8 was factory rated for 340 HP and 480 lb-ft of torque resulting in a best-in-class power-to-weight ratio across the Cadillac lineup. The big-block is backed by a Turbo Hydra-Matic automatic transmission with dual drive range for selectable suburban speed performance or high-gear lockout downhill braking. Improved front and 4-link rear suspension were engineered to deliver world-class ride and road control. Powering down the white convertible top reveals the original and well-appointed ivory leather interior with perforated-leather contoured bucket seating, a padded center console and 6-way power driver seat. The tilt-and-telescoping steering column was a Cadillac first for 1965 with remote control side and day-night rearview mirrors for added convenience. Factory air conditioning works with power side and Ventipane windows for tailored cabin temperature. Automatic frequency control and remote antenna help the AM/FM radio with rear-speaker deliver entertainment while the Twilight Sentinel keeps its electronic eye open day and night to automatically activate and deactivate lighting. https://www.mecum.com/lots/283044/1965-cadillac-eldorado-biarritz-convertible/

GCC Specs means that the vehicle was manufactured to specifications for Gulf Cooperation Council markets. These versions are generally designed for local climate conditions. However, GCC Specs alone does not confirm the vehicle’s condition or mean that it has a valid warranty; these points should be checked separately.
Some showrooms offer financing. If available, the terms or an estimated monthly payment may be shown in the listing. The final interest rate and approval depend on the bank, the down payment, and the buyer’s details.
