ARP 202-4207 Head Stud Kit for NISSAN GT-R RB26DETT ARP studs and bolts are made from 8740 steel alloy designed for use in aviation and space applications. To achieve the highest quality, each element is machined and hardened in a vertical rack at a high pressure of 190,000psi. Thanks to special machining (notching), each ARP stud is made as straight as possible. The threads are applied after hardening, which provides better resistance to wear and metal fatigue than conventional threading before heat treatment.
