First, let's be clear: you don't buy a Beetle for practicality. You buy it for the joy it brings. Driving it on Sheikh Zayed Road, surrounded by serious-looking supercars, is so fun. My Beetle gets so many smiles and thumbs-ups! People, especially women and kids, just love it. It feels like driving a happy, stylish icon.
Is it practical? For my daily life, yes. It's small, so parking at Dubai Mall or Marina Mall is a dream. The 2.0L engine is powerful enough for the highway, and the air conditioner is strong, cooling the small cabin instantly in the crazy heat.
But there are downsides. The boot is tiny, so big grocery hauls are a no-go. It's not a family car, and it's definitely not for desert trips! Insurance is reasonable, but it's an older car, so maintenance can be a surprise.
It's not a car for showing off wealth, but for showing off personality. It's perfect for a single girl or a couple who wants a fun, unique second car for city drives and making people smile. I absolutely adore it
