I know it's a bit unexpected, but I drive a Volkswagen Amarok pickup truck here in Dubai, and I absolutely love it.

First, the power is insane! With 302 horsepower, it's so easy to merge onto Sheikh Zayed Road. But the best part is the weekend. This truck is made for the desert. Driving on the sand is so much fun, and it feels so powerful and safe.

In the city, it's a different story. It's very big, so finding parking, especially at busy malls like Dubai Mall, can be a real challenge. The fuel costs are also quite high, which is a big downside. But the high driving position is great in traffic – you can see everything.

People are always surprised to see a girl driving such a big truck, but their reaction is usually a smile or a thumbs-up. It's not a car for saving money, but it's perfect for someone with an active lifestyle who loves adventures outside the city. It’s my favorite weekend escape vehicle!
