I'll be honest, I wasn't sure about an estate car in Dubai, but the Astra Sports Tourer has completely won me over. It's the perfect blend of sporty looks and brilliant practicality. The 1.6L turbo engine is genuinely quick and makes highway driving an absolute pleasure.

But the real magic is that sleek-looking trunk – I've fit everything from flat-pack furniture to all my camping gear for a weekend in Hatta. It drives like a much smaller, more agile car, which is fantastic in city traffic, yet it's incredibly comfortable and quiet on long journeys.

It offers a refreshing alternative to an SUV. If you want a car that's stylish, fun to drive, practical enough for an active lifestyle, and efficient for daily commuting, this Astra is a seriously smart and underrated choice.
