The Triumph TR4 A IRS convertible was the most developed model of the range and was the final year for Triumph's robust and unburstable 4 cylinder engine. It was beautifully styled by an Italian, Michelotti, and today is considered one of the prettiest cars of the 1960s. This lovely example offered for auction here was delivered new to Los Angeles, CA and was factory fitted with the highly desirable rare option of a 4-speed overdrive gearbox and 60-spoke wire wheels. It was extensively restored approximately seven years ago and is still presenting very nicely.

Details include Triumph Racing Green paint work with the attractive TR250 racing stripe, black interior with new carpets and Robbins softtop, chrome wire wheels, factory styled luggage rack, period wood steering wheel, working overdrive unit and independent rear suspension.
