Yaris de haute performance ultime, la GR a été mise au point en collaboration avec la filiale Gazoo Racing de Toyota, la raison d'être de cette extraordinaire petite voiture étant l'homologation d'un modèle destiné à courir en championnat du monde des rallyes, d'où sa transmission intégrale. La GR est propulsée par un trois cylindres 1,6 litre turbocompressé fabriqué par Gazoo Racing de 257 ou 268 ch selon les marchés et les lois sur les émissions, associé à une boîte manuelle « intelligente » à six rapports. Toyota revendique un 0 à 100 km/h en 5,2 ou 5,5 secondes et une vitesse maximale (limitée électroniquement) de 230 km/h. Les magazines internationaux ont été très élogieux sur le nouveau jouet de Toyota et elle a même été élue voiture de l'année 2021 au Royaume-Uni.
Cet exemplaire est doté du très recherché Circuit Pack haute performance qui offre un réglage de suspension plus agressif, une direction assistée recalibrée et des différentiels à glissement limité Torsen à l'avant et à l'arrière. Livrée en Belgique et immatriculée le 5 mai 2021, la voiture était le cadeau d'un fils à son père. Mais, en raison du caractère agressif de la voiture et de l'âge du père, le fils décida rapidement de la vendre à son actuel propriétaire. Présentée dans un état « comme neuf », ayant parcouru à peine 3 500 kilomètres, cette séduisante berline deux portes est vendue avec tous ses manuels et ses outils.

The ultimate high-performance Yaris, the GR was developed with input from Toyota's Gazoo Racing division, the raison d'être of this extraordinary little car being the need to homologate a model suitable for competing in the World Rally Championship, hence the four-wheel-drive transmission. The GR is powered by a Gazoo Racing-built, turbocharged, 1.6-litre, three-cylinder engine producing 257-268bhp depending on the destination market's emissions regulations, which is coupled to a six-speed 'intelligent manual' gearbox. Toyota claims a 0–100km/h acceleration time of 5.2–5.5 seconds and an (electronically limited) top speed of 230km/h. International magazines have been highly complimentary about Toyota's new 'toy'; indeed, it has been voted 2021 'Car of the Year' in the UK.
This example has the highly desirable High Performance 'Circuit Pack', which brings with it a more aggressive suspension tune, re-calibrated power steering, and Torsen limited-slip differentials front and rear. Delivered to Belgium and first registered on 5th May 2021, the car was bought new as a present from son to father. However, because of the car's aggressive nature and his father's age, the son soon decided to sell it to the current owner. Presented in effectively 'as new' condition, having covered a mere 3,500 kilometres from new, this most desirable of 'hot hatches' comes with all books and tools.
