Introduced in 1989 as an upgraded version of the already popular Rolls-Royce Silver Spur, the Silver Spur II brought fuel injection and ABS brakes as standard; but, the main improvement revolved around suspensions now equipped with Automatic Ride Control. Four dampers provided a more compliant ride over irregular surfaces, adjusting in milliseconds to road conditions.
