It is unknown how long Mrs. Garrett kept the car, but by 1990 the Rolls had found its way to Palm Beach, Florida with a recorded 9,450 miles. Eventually finding its was to Europe, the Rolls received an extensive service and repaint while in the car of Peter Wiesner in Austria. Records on file from 2004-2008 show over €30,000 was spent on mechanical and cosmetic maintenance. The Camargue was then featured in January 2010 issue of the Austrian car magazine
Auto Revue Premium.
The current owner acquired the acquired the car in January of 2011. Sparingly used and largely stored since purchase and showing under 14,300 miles—a figure believed to be from new, it will likely require some recommissioning before heading to the local country club or restaurant to inevitably be parked out front. While it was an inflation-adjusted half a million dollars when new, it is all but guaranteed to make you look like a million bucks while driving it today, even if the purchase price is a mere fraction of that.
