The Rolls-Royce 20hp was launched in 1922 and its introduction (and acceptance of the growing need for owner-driver cars) effectively doubled the Royce offering, which up until then had offered just the 40/50hp Silver Ghost. As with the bigger model the 20hp was bodied by many coachbuilders including Coventry-based Charlesworth, who was responsible for this tourer. Our vendor says that despite the restoration being carried out nearly three decades ago the bodywork, paint, glass, trim and wheels/tyres still present in excellent order. The interior, in its entirety, also presents in excellent order they say.
