One of the more surprising aspects of today's motoring scene is the proliferation of SUVs, with even manufacturers that had built their reputations as purveyors of exclusively sporting cars climbing aboard the bandwagon. Bearing a strong resemblance to both the Panamera and Cayenne, Porsche's Macan high-performance luxury SUV commenced production in 2014. It shared its basic all-wheel-drive platform with the Audi Q5, though the engine, transfer case, body, and interior were unique to the Macan. V6 engines, both petrol and diesel, were fitted to most models, while a turbocharged inline four was available also.

All variants were equipped with a seven-speed PDK dual-clutch automatic transmission. Powered by a 3.0-litre twin-turbocharged V6 petrol engine, the GTS model, as seen here, was announced as an addition to the range in 2015.

A one-owner example, this Macan GTS has covered a mere 1,255 miles from new and is presented in commensurately excellent condition. The car is finished in Volcano Grey with two-tone Mojave Beige and black leather interior. Notable features include the 21" Turbo alloy wheels upgrade; brushed aluminium package; leather-coloured rev counter; leather-coloured Sport Chono package; aluminium roof rails; contrasting interior stitching; and a Bose hi-fi system. This pristine modern Porsche is offered with its driver's manual and service booklet, the latter stamped at 1,015 miles for a running-in service that included new spark plugs and an engine oil change.
