Initially intended as a limited run of 500 special 911-series coupes to usher out Type 991 production, Porsche’s 911 Turbo S Exclusive Series generated fierce demand for an open-air version. The result was a special run of 200 special cabriolets for North American clients, resulting in one of the best-performing and highly equipped luxury sports cars ever produced. Performance is stunning to match its looks and specifications, thanks to a 2.8L twin-turbo flat-6 powerplant at its core, developing 607 BHP, 27 more than the 911 Turbo S at the core of the Exclusive Series cars. Power is delivered through a 7-speed, dual-clutch PDK transaxle with electronic limited-slip and all-wheel drive.
As expected, performance is stunning, with credentials including 0-60 mph acceleration in just 2.8 seconds and the ability to exceed 205 MPH flat out. Offered with limited use including 3,118 miles, this 2019 Porsche 911 Turbo S Exclusive Series Cabriolet is Car No. 89 of the 200 examples produced. In addition to the factory-rated 607 BHP delivered by its twin-turbocharged 3.8L engine, it also carries a mammoth 550 lb-ft of peak torque for truly amazing and usable performance in concert with Porsche’s renowned all-wheel drive system and 7-speed PDK transmission.
