For 2007, the GXP was introduced with a new 2.0L/260 HP turbocharged inline 4-cylinder, capable of propelling the little spider from 0-60 in about 5.5-seconds. For 2009, the targa hardtop was introduced, but just 1,266 were built before the production line was shut down. In total, over 64,000 Solstice convertibles were built, marking it as a fairly successful vehicle for the division.
