Project Red Thunder. Presenting a beautiful custom built Pro-touring 1968 Firebird. No expense was spared on this extensive rotisserie restoration. The underside is as clean as the top. It is finished in a spectacular deep red with flat black accents on the hood, lower front spoiler, side fins, Trans Am spoiler and rear panel. The body and paint was done by the well known Restore a Muscle Car. It's complimented with a SKY's custom black interior. Some interior upgrades include carbon fiber, Flaming River tilt steering column, Billet Specialties Draft steering wheel and sound system. The smoothed firewall and inner fenders are painted red.
The new 462cid big block consists of many high-end internal and external parts such as Kauffman aluminum heads, March serpentine system and a Barry Grant Six Shooter carburetor which has 3x2 barrels. It's coupled with a Richmond 6-speed transmission and 12-bolt rear end with Moser axles. It breathes through ceramic coated headers and a custom Magnaflow exhaust system. The B-Cool aluminum radiator with electric fans keeps the engine cool and the Vintage Air conditioning keeps the driver cool. The CT Chassis custom built Pro-G front subframe has coilovers and rack & pinion steering. The Heidts 4-link rear suspension system also consists of coilovers.
Wilwood 4-wheel disc brakes with slotted and cross drilled rotors with red calipers are at all black Intro wheels.
