This 1988 Pontiac Fiero Formula is one of 2,900 built for the final model year. Powered by a mid-mounted 2.8-liter L44 V6 that was factory rated at 140 horsepower and 170 ft/lbs of torque and is paired with a five-speed Getrag manual transaxle with 3.61:1 final drive (FX8). The Fiero was revamped for 1988, and the final Formula model shared the same updates as those applied to the 1988 GT. The fiberglass bodywork on this example is finished in Medium Red Metallic (77) with Formula graphics on the lower doors and the car is equipped with an optional rear spoiler.
