  • Franck Galiegue achète donc une 406 V6 boite méca, intérieur cuir gris dans l’idée de faire une réplique de la voiture de Taxi 1. Celle-ci fut mise en circulation en 1996, le compteur affichait 170 000 km environ et c’était en août 2020.
  • La mission fut confiée en partie au GARAC, l’école nationale des professions de l’automobile et de la mobilité, qui se charge de la création d’un kit carrosserie et d’appliquer la peinture blanche. Les roues, comme dans le film, sont des TSW inspirées de la course, équipées de pneus neufs.
  • Aujourd’hui la voiture nécessiterait quelques travaux pour parfaire l’évocation de la star du film, comme la pose de cales pour les roues ainsi qu’un rabaissement et la mise en place de bas de caisse.
