Riding on a long 122-inch wheelbase, with independent front suspension, and powered by a massive 352ci V8 engine with dual four-barrel carburetors (dual quads), mated to an Ultramatic 3-speed automatic transmission. Power windows and top were standard along with the new Wonder Bar radio, power brakes and the new Torsion-Leveling, hydraulic rear suspension were standard features on the Caribbean. All this combined with a striking tri-color combination exterior with matching interior made the 1955 Packard Caribbean immediately appreciated.
