The Morgan 4/4 was first introduced in 1936 and remained in production for 83 years until 2019, making it one of the longest running production models in automotive history earning both the model and the manufacturer a spot in the. Guinness Book of Records. . The 4/4 maintained Morgan’s ethos by being traditional, lightweight and dynamic with a box-section ladder-frame chassis mated to a traditional body construction with an aluminium skin over an ash wood frame. In 1993 the 4/4 was offered with Ford’s 1800 Zetec engine which was faster, cleaner and more frugal than its predecessors.
With a kerb weight of just 868kg, a revvy DOHC engine and rear-wheel drive, this British built sports car was everything Morgan wanted it to be. Finished in Indigo Blue over Stone leather, this delightful 4/4 presents in exceptional condition, commensurate with its warranted ultra-low mileage of just 2,200 miles from new. Additionally, it is a one-owner vehicle, still showcasing the factory chalk marks on the hood. It comes with the original order form from Mike Duncan Morgan agents, confirming that P522 NOE was specifically ordered in Indigo Blue with Stone trim, complemented by blue piping, blue carpets and stone piping, and a Walnut dashboard.
