Superbly presented 2017 MINI JCW 6-Speed Tiptronic with just 123 miles from new. Officially unveiled at the Paris Motor Show in October 2016, the John Cooper Works (JCW) MINI Cooper was launched as a high performance variant of MINI’s little hatchback, continuing the iconic design and fun to drive characteristic synonymous with the make and model. The JCW variant offered a more driver-focussed driving experience and aesthetic within the MINI lineup, targeting buyers seeking a blend of everyday usability and spirited performance, essentially the M-Performance or AMG of the MINI world.
Externally, the JCW features a more aggressive front bumper with larger air intakes for improved airflow, a distinctive rear spoiler and a rear diffuser. It comes fitted with 17" alloy wheels, along with LED headlights, a black roof and unique JCW badging to further distinguish this model from other variants. In terms of the interior, the JCW is designed for sportiness as well as comfort, featuring JCW sports seats upholstered with Dinamica/leather in Carbon Black with extra bolstering for enhanced support. The cabin includes rubberised stainless steel pedals, anthracite headlining, Piano Black trim and Walknappa leather clad steering wheel with JCW badging, as well as JCW door sills.
From a tech perspective, the JCW comes equipped MINI Driving Modes allowing the driver to switch between Green, Mid and Sport, as well as a MINI Connected infotainment system, which includes a large touchscreen interface, supporting features like navigation, Bluetooth connectivity and smartphone integration. In terms of driver assistance systems there are rear parking sensors, a rear view camera and optional adaptive cruise-control. In terms of performance, the JCW is powered by a 2-litre turbocharged engine, delivering approximately 228bhp allowing 0-62mph in 6.1 seconds, prioritizing the driving experience without sacrificing everyday usability.
The 6-speed Tiptronic automatic transmission allows for quick gear changes, whilst simultaneously suiting city driving. The JCW features tweaked suspension and precise steering, ensuring improved handling and agility, making it well-suited for both city driving and spirited B-roads. This 2017 BMW MINI JCW 6-Speed Tiptronic was supplied new by Lancaster MINI and first registered as AV67 SZX on 23rd December 2017 prior to being sold to its first owner. It was part of a deceased estate and was purchased from us by our vendor, the second owner, with six delivery miles only. He purchased it as a surprise present, however apparently the lady in question had her heart set on a 4 x 4 so we are delighted to be able to offer it again, now with 123 miles indicated. Supplied with its original Sales Invoice, sundry paperwork and all the usual dealer book pack, manuals, user guides and service books etc.
