Under the bonnet is engine #35384, which according to factory records and the British Motoring Industry Heritage Trust certificate, is the correct, matching numbers unit this car was fitted with from the factory. A complete show quality, frame-off restoration was completed circa 2001 and the car has been extremely well cared for and sparingly driven since, kept in a climate controlled facility in Southern California as part of a large collection. The 4,998 miles on the odometer indicate distance driven since completion.
