Well presented in a great colour, this 5-litre R129 from long term ownership is offered without Reserve. In production for 13 years, the R129 SL probably did more than any other to create the 'hewn-from-solid' reputation that Mercedes then enjoyed. UK-supplied and registered in 1993, this 500 SL has been owned by our vendor since 2002 with just one previous keeper. Finished in Almandine Red with a matching hardtop and an Oatmeal leather interior. Powered by the M119 5-litre, 32-valve V8 generating 322bhp and mated to a 4-speed automatic gearbox. Fitted with a new radio but the original will accompany the car with its multi-disc player.
