The 1989 Mercedes-Benz 190E 2.5-16 Evolution I is a motorsport-inspired performance sedan born from Mercedes-Benz's Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters (DTM) racing heritage. This is one of only 502 limited-edition models boasting a 2.5-liter 16-valve inline-4 engine, capable of producing up to 195hp, a considerable feat for the late '80s. Its aggressive, aerodynamic design includes flared wheel arches, a distinct rear spoiler and lightweight materials aimed at maximizing downforce and stability at high speeds.
