In 1948, the world of motoring saw the birth of the Land Rover, an off-road utility vehicle which, after some 68 years of reign in its almost traditional form, would bow out having achieved the status of absolute myth... In 2015, Land Rover announces three final special editions paying tribute to the Defender: Autobiography, Adventure, and Heritage. The latter is automatically considered the most interesting and elegant, with its Grasmere Green colour, special grille and specific accessories. Our example was delivered new in France in January 2016 to its current owner in this rare 110 7-seater version.

Today, this Defender is in impeccable condition, a testament to the care taken by its owner and the strictly road-going use he puts it to. The 2.2-litre 4-cylinder diesel engine, mated to the 6-speed manual gearbox, delivers a pleasant, fairly quiet drive that's very easy to get to grips with despite the beast's size!
