Italian registration title Registered new in the name of Lancia SpA under number G36419 TO, this Fulvia 1.6 HF Gr. 4 raced for the official Lancia team during the 1972 and 1973 seasons. It competed in several events with the most important drivers of the time, first with a Lancia Italia and then with a Lancia Marlboro livery.

Carefully restored about ten years ago, its condition is almost irreproachable. Its configuration is in accordance with all the particularities of the “factory” cars: large capacity petrol tank, special oil tank and radiator, roll bar, fire extinguisher, small bucket seats of the period, lightened opening body panels, etc.

Purchased in 2014 by its current owner, the car will always be maintained at GT Classic in Charente to ensure its perfect functioning. Displayed in its living room, it will only be taken out on very rare occasions!

Starting at the first request, its V4 engine fed by two large Weber 45 carburetors is lively and the four-speed gearbox is a model of precision.

Even when fitted with the small 13-inch Cromodora wheels, the handling and front end efficiency for which the Fulvia is known are there. The steering is precise and the braking has a lot of bite!

Eligible for the Tour Auto, Modena Cento Ore, Rallye Monte Carlo Historique and many other top events, this genuine “factory” car represents a rare opportunity. Achievements and history in period

Six years later, in 1981, the car was sold to Alberto Sassi in La Spesia, also a rally driver, with the registration SP 181779.

In 1988 it was registered to Gianni Farioli in Emilia Romagna and would change owners three more times in 1997, 2011 and 2014, again in Italy. Drivers

His passion gives rhythm to his life and his experience sets the tone from the top of his many podiums. If the man is modest, the driver is fast, clean, regular... and bulimic as the trophies accumulate in “his bachelor pad”, as the one who shares his life and the confined cockpit of his machines on the circuits likes to recall.

During a dinner we shared recently, he told me that he hoped to be able to race until he was 80 years old. I wish him that because when you love, you don’t count... so why bother with the weight of years? If the advantage of a passion is to be timeless, I am firmly convinced that classic cars maintains youth.

So I wish you many more podiums. Don’t miss any step, there is one a little higher than the others that awaits you next April...Thank you. Gautier Rossignol
