As the final limited series of the most accomplished version of the amazing Delta Integrale, the evolution 2 (the Edizione Finale) was produced between 1995 and 1996 in 250 numbered examples at the request of the Japanese importer. The model was characterised by a specific finish: the “Rosso Amaranto” bodywork on which ran the famous blue and yellow stripe colours of Turin that appeared on the Fulvia HF, 16’ Speedline rims in anthracite, Recaro seats in black Alcantara enhanced with an aluminium-coloured dashboard background and decorated with a Momo “Corse” steering wheel as well as OMP pedals and an aluminium footrest.
Ultimate detail: a push button is fixed on a carbon plate on the dashboard in order to start the car. In other words, the car was both elegant and sporty, in the same spirit of the best Lancia models. This particular example bears the number 089 and was sold new in Japan in March 1996. It remained in the hands of its first owner until 2011 and had a mileage of 147,000 km then. The car was then imported by an enthusiast from the south of France in May 2021, seduced by its well-preserved condition. The engine was rebuilt the same year by the specialist Storic Italia and several invoices detail the care taken in this work. At the same time, the bodywork has had a coat of paint.
Its current owner acquired it in 2013 when the mileage was at 152,000 km and as a demanding enthusiast, he spent more than €5,000 for its servicing and in order to perfect its look. This beautiful example now has a total mileage of 156,508 km since new and includes its logbooks, duplicate keys and invoice file since new, which will enable you to follow the evolution of the mileage. Equipped with all its specific attributes, this rare and ultimate Delta is a true collector item, it went through the hands of 3 meticulous owners and you will not go wrong by becoming the fourth one.
