Monegasque title - One owner and 10,905 km from new - Sold new in Monaco, manuals - Rare manual gearbox - Superb " Blu Hera " colour The definition of the word " Murciélago " is " bat ".

From the outset, this Lamborghini laid claim to the marque's prestigious history: it was one of the fastest supercars of its day, with a top speed of over 330 km/h thanks to a 580 bhp 6.2-litre V12 engine. It also boasted innovative styling, designed by Luc Donckervolke who succeeded in imposing a very personal style still apparent in current Lamborghini. The Murciélago was one of the last generation of supercars that could be ordered as standard with a manual gearbox. The E-Gear box only became an option with the arrival of the LP640 in 2006.

Attracted by the aesthetics of this new arrival, to the point of accepting a Lamborghini among his Ferrari, our collector ordered a new example from SAM Twelve in Monaco. Wanting something different to the red of his Ferrari, he opted for a restrained shade "Blu Hera" with black leather interior. The Murciélago was delivered to him on 8 August 2003. The first service at 2500 km was carried out by Global Garage on 30 March 2004, then at 10866 km on 21 July 2016, the car was entrusted to Lamborghini Menton. Today it has covered just 10905 km from new and is presented in exceptionally well-preserved condition, rare for this model.

The car comes with all its manuals, including the stamped logbook. The toolkit, the " Lamborghini " stamped pair of gloves still in their plastic cover, the original bulb box and puncture repair kit are still in the front bonnet. Today, the Murciélago represents an interesting mix, a car that is collectable and avant-garde, in short the best of both worlds! Photos © Kevin Van Campenhout
