This 1988 Jeep Grand Wagoneer is powered by its original 360ci V8 engine paired with a 3-speed automatic transmission and dual-range transfer case. It has been under the same ownership since new and has spent its entire life in West Texas. The engine retains its working emissions equipment and has received extensive recent service, including replacement of the intake manifold and valve cover gaskets, water pump, spark plugs, wires, distributor, alternator, vacuum lines, sensors, exhaust manifold, catalytic converter, muffler, radiator and transmission cooler, with all fluids refreshed and no leaks reported.
The suspension has been renewed with new front and rear leaf springs, shocks, body mounts, control arm bushings, tie rods, stabilizer bushings, wheel bearings and brake shoes. The interior features Cordovan leather and cloth upholstery with new window tracks, door seals, upgraded window and lock solenoids, new headliner and sun visors, and full sound-deadening throughout the cabin. The dash cluster and gauges operate properly, and the air conditioning and heater function as intended. The exterior, refinished in its original Dover Gray with faux wood-grain trim during the 1990s, features bright-finished bumpers, roof rack, mirror caps, fog lights and trim.
