This custom 2-door 1986 Jeep Cherokee Pioneer is an example of a low-mileage original Cherokee LS conversion XJ. It is powered by a GM 5.3-liter LS Vortec V8 engine mated to a built 4-speed 4L60E automatic transmission with HD internals, a Novak upgraded dual-range transfer case and a Ford 8.8-inch Trak-Lok rear differential. It is still wearing its original factory paint of Olympic White over the stunning original red plaid cloth upholstery. The built Chevrolet LS engine is equipped with a 3-inch stainless-steel fabricated custom exhaust system with a cutout, custom stainless-steel headers, performance roller camshaft and lS6 intake manifold.
