The current consignor acquired this example from the original owner, who purchased it in San Antonio, Texas, and it has remained a desirable southwestern vehicle ever since. During 2008, this Jaguar was upgraded by the San Antonio marque specialists at Victor's Service Center. Among the items addressed, the original Turbo-Hydramatic 400 three-speed automatic transmission was replaced by a Turbo-Hydromatic 700R4 four-speed automatic with overdrive. Cooling was also enhanced with the addition of an aluminum radiator with duel electric fans and passenger comfort improved with installing a Sanden air conditioning compressor.
