First introduced in 1975 and in production until 1996, the Jaguar XJS is a stunning GT car that was beautifully styled by Malcolm Sayer. Today the design is has stood well against the test of time, and it is renowned for with its long bonnet and flying buttresses. Powered by Jaguar's renowned V12 engine, the XJS performed well against its competitors and for 1981 the power was increased to 295bhp. Other stylistic improvements for 1981 included body coloured trim, new alloy wheels and an updated interior. This 1989 V12 example has recently been imported from Jersey and could be considered a barn find as it has been sat in a garage for the last 20 years.

This has resulted in a very low mileage of just 32,000 miles (which appears to be genuine). The body is also very solid for an XJS that hasn't been restored, and the floors are in very good condition. The car is also said to be starting, running and driving well. The red paintwork does not present well however and the car could benefit from a full respray. Overall, this is an excellent low mileage example that offers good potential.
