This 1971 GMC K10 custom pickup has undergone a comprehensive restoration by its previous owner. The refurbishment includes a powder-coated black frame, a green repaint, installation of a sleek gray leather interior and a potent 6.0-liter Vortec V8 engine matched with a 4L80 4-speed automatic transmission, a 205 dual-range transfer case and 3/4-ton axles. This four-wheel-drive vehicle boasts an array of modifications, such as an aftermarket steel front bumper, power-operated side steps and a factory rear bumper. The bed is protected with undercoating, while a front light bar and quad aftermarket headlights illuminate the path ahead.
Under the hood, the 6.0-liter Vortec V8 has been tweaked for performance with an open-filter intake, Doug Thorley headers and an aluminum radiator with dual electric fans. Additional features include an aluminum fuel tank, heat insulation wrapped around the exhaust and G2 differential covers front and back. Outfitting for off-road adventures, this GMC sits tall on a 6-inch Off-Road Designs suspension lift kit supported by Fox shocks. It rolls on rugged 17-inch Method wheels wrapped in Nitto Ridge Grappler tires. Enhanced braking performance is ensured with four-wheel disc brakes featuring braided stainless-steel lines.
Inside, comfort meets functionality with a custom-wrapped bench seat and gray leather door panels complemented by rubber floor covering. The cabin houses a heater and a Bluetooth-capable Alpine stereo system with aftermarket speakers and a subwoofer. The driver is greeted by a leather-wrapped four-spoke steering wheel against a dash painted to match the exterior. Instrumentation is completed with a 200-mph speedometer, a tachometer, a clock and auxiliary gauges for oil pressure, coolant temperature, voltage and fuel level.
