The car under went a 350 hour mechanical and body restoration in the spring of 2008 which included removing drivetrain, engine, rear end, interior, welded in subframe connectors, replaced floor, lower firewall, torque boxes, radiator support, new rear leaf, new tires, electronic ignition, new door moldings, new high end Sony stereo with amp and remote, all NOS nuts and bolts and bushings used on chassis, engine compartment and suspension components. It still has the original engine with VIN stamp 9A45R134390, engine block VIN stamp 9A134390, engine casting 8K23, intake manifold casting C80E-9425-C, intake manifold date code 8H1 15426378, cylinder head casting (both L and R) C80E-6090-N, cylinder head stamp CAM-8740-003.
