This 1972 Ford Thunderbird is a one-owner, family-owned example that is powered by its factory 429ci 7.0-liter V8 engine paired with the original C6 Select-O-Matic 3-speed automatic transmission and a Ford 9-inch rear end. The car is finished in Pastel Lime with a one-time respray and retains its original green interior featuring a split bench seat. It is equipped with the factory green vinyl top with dummy S-bars on the rear sail panels. Factory equipment includes a tilt steering wheel, power side windows, front and rear bumper guards, Select-Air climate control (which retains its original R12 configuration and will require service), and a factory AM/FM stereo.

The vehicle also retains its original factory under-seal. Documentation includes the original owner’s manual, factory starting instructions, AM/FM radio operating manual, Warranty Facts booklet, original dealer window invoice, Build Sheet and original Bill of Sale showing purchase by the first owner from Capital Ford in Helena, MT, on November 11, 1972. Also included are 18 service receipts documenting mileage progression from 1,350 miles in January 1973 to 42,569 miles in July 1984. The Thunderbird was stored from 1984 until 2025, passing from the original owner to his son. 43,222 miles (title reads exempt).
