This F-100 short-bed pickup is equipped with a 223ci 6-cylinder engine and 3-speed column-shift manual transmission. It features a new driveshaft linked to a 9' rear end. A complete frame-off restoration to basic stock specifications was completed in January 2015. It has about 5 test miles since the fresh restoration. Sensible upgrades include: top-quality material base coat/clear coat paint finished in factory color Meadow Green, radial Firestone tires, powder-coated wheels, professional spray-on bed liner coating applied to inside of fenders and interior floor of cab.

It also has sound-deadening material applied to inside of cab, new chrome grille and bumpers, and Pertronix electronic ignition system hidden under distributor cap maintaining stock appearance (can be easily be returned to stock). This truck wears most of its original steel body panels with exception of new replacement running boards, stock-style floor, complete bed and tailgate. The wood floor in the bed has been finished with top-quality UV- and weather-resistant varnish, sanded and polished to a shine. The brake system is all-new, including master cylinder, steel lines, hoses, wheel cylinders, parking brake cables and brake shoes on all four corners.

The fuel system consists of new fuel tank, sending units, gauge, steel lines and a glass bowl carburetor. The electrical system has been sorted with new wiring harness, cluster gauges, lights, switches, interior lighting and electric windshield wiper system. The suspension system includes new kingpins, steering linkages, tie rods, shocks and steering stabilizer. The interior features a stock bench seat that has been professionally reconditioned with new padding and vinyl over prepared seat frame. It also features a new steering wheel, pedal pads, door handles, window cranks, headliner, firewall cover and carpet. Both the cab and doors have all-new glass installed with all necessary gaskets.

Rigorous attention to detail. First-quality results were the main objective during the build of this truck. Shown at ISCA-sanctioned World of Wheels show in Pittsburgh, PA, in January 2015 and 2016, it won first place in class at both events.
