Cette très belle Ferrari Mondial fut livrée neuve en Belgique à son premier propriétaire par la concession Ferrari de Spa Francorchamps. Son second propriétaire, un avocat parisien qui l'utilisait entre Paris et sa résidence secondaire en Normandie, la conservera du début des années 1990 à 2015. C'est lui qui effectua d'ailleurs l'essentiel du kilométrage. Elle devint en 2016 la propriété d'un carrossier de profession, qui va entreprendre une remise en état complète. En état d'usage et extrêmement saine, elle nécessitait des travaux cosmétiques pour retrouver un bel état d'origine.
Le propriétaire procéda alors au démontage complet de l'auto pour la préparer dans les règles de l'art et lui appliquer une nouvelle peinture. A cette occasion, il put constater que la voiture n'avait jamais été accidentée. Notre actuel propriétaire en fit lui l'acquisition dans une vente Artcurial en 2018 séduit par la qualité de présentation du véhicule. Désireux de parfaire le fonctionnement de sa Mondial, ce dernier va la confier aux Etablissements Pozzi afin qu'ils puissent corriger tous les défauts liés à l'usure et au temps. C'est ainsi que près de 35 000 € furent investis ces dernières années, factures à l'appui dont le détail est disponible sur demande.
Enfin, en juillet dernier, ODS Automobile fut chargé de réaliser une révision mécanique avec remplacement des courroies de distribution. Totalisant 75 600 km au compteur, cette Mondial est donc aujourd'hui prête à prendre la route et propose un rapport prix/prestation tout simplement inégalable. Its second owner, a Parisian lawyer who used it between Paris and his second home in Normandy, kept it from the early 1990s until 2015 and covered most of the mileage. In 2016, it became the property of a professional coachbuilder, who executed a complete overhaul. In used condition but perfectly sound, the car needed cosmetic work to regain its beautiful original condition.
The owner then proceeded to completely strip the car bare in order to prepare it in the proper manner and apply a new paint job. On this occasion, he was able to see that the car had never been in an accident. The current owner acquired the car at an Artcurial sale in 2018, taken up by the quality of the vehicle's presentation. Eager to improve the functioning of his Mondial, he entrusted the car to Pozzi so that they could correct all the defaults related to wear and time. Nearly € 35,000 has been invested in recent years, with supporting invoices, details of which are available on request.
Incidentally, last July, ODS Automobile was tasked with carrying out a mechanical overhaul with replacement of the timing belts.
