As Ferrari’s most advanced road model at debut, the hybrid-powertrain LaFerrari marked the culmination of the Formula 1 technologies developed at Maranello that helped the marque win an unprecedented eight World Manufacturer’s Championships from 1999 to 2008, including five straight titles from 2000 through 2004. Featuring already-stunning performance from its V-12 internal-combustion engine, an electric motor serves up an additional 161 HP, yielding staggering performance potential.
Based upon a competition-inspired carbon fiber monocoque chassis, the LaFerrari features aggressive yet attractive styling with an array of amazing aerodynamic features, maximizing downforce while defeating aerodynamic drag. Two LaFerrari variants were sold: the coupe (with 500 produced 2013-2016) and the Aperta (with 210 built 2016-2018). Numbered 212722, this 2015 Ferrari LaFerrari was special-ordered new by the Bachmans with its personalized Rossi and Gialli interior treatment and Italian national flag stripe painted on the nose.
Finished in Giallo Modena with Scuderia Ferrari shields over the bespoke Rossi and Gialli interior, this LaFerrari also features the carbon fiber lower part, a $21,276 option alone. The odometer reads 157 miles at the time of writing. As one of 500 coupes produced, this example is the last U.S.-version LaFerrari produced. Underscoring its significance, this LaFerrari was the Walmac Cup winner and earned First Place – Future Classics at the 2016 Keeneland Concours d’Elegance.
