French registration title Continuing the tradition of Ferrari 2+2 front-wheel drive V12 coupés, the 456 project was launched in 1989 and brought to market in 1992| for this model, Pininfarina opted for discretion rather than sporting excess, which was only hinted at by the twin tailpipes.

The result is remarkable, the aerodynamics meticulous, and the sides hollowed out to allow better engine cooling. Produced in 3,300 examples until 2003, the 465 GT stands out for its mechanical gearbox.

Our example was delivered new in Germany in this shade of Rosso Corsa with a black interior. The current owner bought the car in Stuttgart in 2002, when it had 25,000 km on the clock. In the 23 years they’ve been together, the car has clocked up

Today, the car has a beautiful patina, with a few body defects but a cockpit in generally good condition (the leathers are cracked but tight, a sign of storage in good condition). A Hamman preparation had probably been carried out prior to its purchase, with the addition of special wheels (the original ones are sold with the car), ventilated disc brakes and an exhaust system. The car runs well, and the timing belts were replaced in June 2023. It should be noted that the maintenance booklet and an extensive file are present.

A very attractive estimate for a car that deserves some cosmetic care.
