Born of the lineage that brought you the Dino 246 GTB and GTS, this 2025 Ferrari 296 GTB is the fresh new interpretation of the mid-engine V-6 layout that has contributed so much to the Prancing Horse legend, with all the advances that result from Maranello’s commitment to pioneering development. This V-6 employs twin IHI turbochargers and Ferrari’s Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) system to produce 818 combined horsepower, with a 7.45 kWh lithium-ion battery supplying power to the electric motor situated between the engine and 8-speed F1 dual-clutch automated transmission for optimal efficiency in both power production and packaging. Electronic Side Slip Angle Control (ESSC) capitalizes on the 296’s remarkable output with astonishing handling and stability control balanced by computer-controlled carbon ceramic disc brakes at each corner.
The 296 also possesses enhanced aerodynamics, thanks to its combination of tea-tray underbody and carbon fiber front spoiler, rear diffuser and under-door trim and exterior sill plate.
