This 1972 De Tomaso Panera is powered by a modified 351ci V8 engine paired with a 5-speed manual transmission from Hall Pantera. The engine is equipped with Trick-Flow heads, a Quick Fuel carburetor, aluminum intake manifold, mild cam and ceramic-coated headers. The transmission and engine were both rebuilt, and a new cooling system with stainless pipes was installed. The interior retains its factory layout with the original radio, and the seats have been reupholstered in leather. The exterior has been refinished in its original yellow over a California body and rides on 17-inch LeMans aluminum wheels. The air-conditioning system has been removed.

The restoration began in 2009 under the current owner, who has had the car since 2007, and approximately 2,500 miles have been driven since the rebuild.
