This 2019 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport was built by Chevrolet as an official pace car for the 2019 Indianapolis 500, where Dale Earnhardt Jr. served as the honorary pace car driver. Mechanical features include a 6.2-liter V8 engine with 460hp and 465 ft/lbs of torque, paired with an 8-speed paddle-shift automatic transmission. It is also equipped with Magnetic Ride Control suspension and Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes. The Long Beach Red Metallic paint is accented by unique GM Design graphics. Safety modifications include six-point racing-style harness and integrated strobe light system. From The GM Heritage Collection.
